CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
St. Luke's has a wide range of educational opportunities for people of all ages.
We hope you will take advantage of one or all of the classes.

Is there something you would like to learn more about but it is not covered by the
curriculum below?   Please call our Learning Chair, Lori Heilmeier or Pastor Bob.
EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN

be invited up to the alter for a Children's Sermon.  After their time with Pastor its time to learn!  Children

Youth Group for 1st to 5th graders - Our Youth Director, Mandy Moyer, plans fun activities  for our GNK

Youth Group for 6th to 12th graders - Our Youth Director, Mandy Moyer, plans Bible based discussions with
our TGIF (Teens Growing in Faith) group on Sundays after the church service for about 1 hour.  The goals is

Women's Bible Study - Tuesday s at  7:00 pm.  Facilitated by Mandy Moyer.  Please read her description
below:
Greetings, Ladies! I would like to host a 10-week Bible study this fall. The study is called "Jesus, the One and
Only," and is led by a great woman of faith, Beth Moore. If you've never done a Bible study, this is just the
one for you!
At each weekly meeting, we will have a brief time of fellowship followed by a video segment of Beth Moore
as she leads us in our studies of God's word. (Don't feel shy if you haven't cracked your Bible or even dusted
it in the past few years because she always  reads the scriptures out loud if you don't find the passages she
talks about.) During the week, there is a workbook for you to take home that helps you read on your own,
answer questions, and direct your thoughts about what we see in each weekly video segment. It's pretty
easy, and this is the sixth Bible study that I have done by Beth Moore. If I can juggle it with my schedule, I
know you can, and you will be amazed by how much you learn and by how much your faith grows.
I am planning to meet on Tuesday evenings, starting at the church at 7pm. We will be finished by 8:30 pm,
unless you choose to stay and chat with some of the other ladies. The study will begin on September 16th,
which means we will finish the week before Thanksgiving. I already have enough women interested to
make this happen, so if you want to join our group, please let me know. Thanks!
