TGIF - Teens Growing In Faith
Is T.G.I.F. for you? Teens in grades 6-12 meet on Sundays for Bible study and “real life” discussion during the Fellowship Hour. We will start at the end of the 11:00 service for about 1 hour unless otherwise noted. Join us! January Sunday, January 4th - New Year: New You Grown ups aren't the only ones making plans for the year ahead. We'll be talking about our hopes and goals for 2009 and how God has a plan for more than just this year ahead. Sunday, January 11th - Family We'll be talking about our families and how they are similar and different to God's family. We'll also be talking about how our friends in many ways can be closer than family. How do we pick the kins of friends that will stick with us no matter what? Join us for some great discussion. Sunday, January 18th - Game Day We have a new game to try that will help us get to know each other better. It's a little goofy, but lots of fun. Join us for snacks and hopefully some laughs. In February, I will be on maternity leave. I have ideas and easy lessons to keep our group alive until I return; I just need bolunteers. If you are interested in taking the group, even for one Sunday, PLEASE CALL ME! As always, this group is for you! If you want to do a special outing or study a certain topic, please let me know.
